After retiring from professional baseball Andrew found the transition to coaching very natural. In 2001 he joined the UBC Baseball Program as an assistant coach and began working towards a Masters Degree in Kinesiology with a Coaching Science emphasis. Within a year he was offered the Head Coaching position with the Vancouver Mounties of the BC Premier Baseball League, coaching the top male athletes ages 16-18 in the City of Vancouver. The 10 month and 100 game schedule proved successful in 2003 as the club was crowned Canadian Champions. During the 4 years that he was Head Coach he placed 99% of his graduating seniors into Collegiate or Professional baseball programs. He was also an Associate Scout for the Atlanta Braves Professional Baseball Club. Since, completing his Masters Degree in 2004 Andrew has shifted his focus into mental training and conscious movement facilitation, bringing psychological skills training coupled with traditional yogic practices to athletes and professionals.
